One of 2020’s wedding trends is Pearls. Effortlessly romantic and versatile, pearls are a great option for wedding jewellery as an alternative to diamonds.
Pearls come in many colours and sizes so you can go as bold or as understated as you want. There’s plenty of options when it comes to pearl jewellery from earrings to headbands so I’ve rounded up a few of my favourites to help you narrow down your options.
Whether you’re looking for plain studs, something with a bit more bling or some statement drop earrings, there are so many options to choose from like the pictures below. I’ve found a few of my favourites and have put the links below:
For a pearl stud with a bit of diamond bling the how about these 9ct white gold and halo diamond stud earrings from Fraser Hart.
If you’re looking at going all out with drop pearl earrings then why not opt for these long oval pearl drop cubic zirconia set from John Lewis. The earrings feature a fresh pearl drop, chain and shimmering cubic zirconia stud fronts.
An alternative to the white or grey is the black pearl. The black pearl offers something a little different if you’re looking for a standout pair of earrings there are some nice options here.
From delicate to bold and beautiful there are some fabulous options for a pearl necklace on your wedding day. A more chunky necklace goes really well with a strapless dress and it makes a real statement. If you have a strapless dress that’s fairly simple then you can choose to go bold with a pearl necklace such as this one from Not on the Highstreet.
If you’re looking for something more delicate particularly if you have a square or sweetheart neckline then Tiffany & Co do a beautiful drop necklace which encompasses a heart and a pearl so it’s a romantic addition to your jewellery for your wedding day.
Headbands are a nice alternative to a tiara or other wedding headgear and it also means that it you can coordinate all your jewellery.
If you want to go all out then ASOS has a great budget-friendly pearl headband at only £8 it’s a real bargain.
For something very understated Pretty Little Thing has even more budget-friendly option for just £4!
A chunky and bold statement headband is an option if you’re looking to spend a bit more money and really add the wow factor to your wedding outfit. I found this gorgeous pearl headband on Alice & Blair The velvet hairband has hundreds of Swarovski pearls and crystals and looks fab!
